Say Yes to the universe!

Say Yes to the universe!

“When life hands you lemons, make lemonade” A very famous quote by Dale Carnegie who used it in his book “ How to Stop worrying and start living” which simply states that when something bad happens, you have three choices : you can either let it define you, let it destroy you or let it strengthen you.

Every human being goes through a form of pain and injustice in life. Everyone, whether a parent, child, lover, brother, friend, sister or stranger has lived painful experiences varying from sickness, loss of loved ones, betrayals, loss of job, rejection or hurt… in fact there is no possibility to build muscles without things to lift i.e. our human painful experiences, and if you do not lift it, it will crush you, and when you lift it, you will see that it is not easy and painful.  Acknowledgment of pain is very important, denial is deadly. When we don’t acknowledge pain it will be transformed to anger, frustration and you will destroy your life and the life of the ones around you. Those who say “no to the universe” usually withdraw from life, choosing to hide under covers to keep themselves from becoming victims not being aware that they will end up complete victims of their own fears.  Choose to say yes. Because when you choose to say yes and be in an acceptance state, opportunities open up to you that you would not thought about before.  Pain cannot be avoided and sometimes it is inevitable, you should acknowledge that it is part of life,  saying yes to the struggle whatever it might be, will help you rise above the feelings of being a victim and fear and knowing that you can handle the pain as well as the situation causing that pain will make you empowered and in control.

Be determined to create a positive experience to whatever life hands you, as you will be able to find new meaning, purpose and growth, a spiritual one. Letting go the pain will allow you to the other side of it, and you will gain something out of it only if you look for it with a positive attitude.

The day will come and you can find inside yourself the story that states that you no longer want to be victim of your experiences or your past, this day not only will change your life but also it is the day when you will be able to lift others. Those who were mentally, sexually, verbally or emotionally abused in any way have a spiritual pain not just a physical one, but those are the ones who have the power to help others. Sometimes through their parenting, their books, their paintings…and their work because they discovered that when they were able to say yes to the universe, they  rose above all that pain knowing that it serves something greater than just themselves and then their journey has begun.

The world is filled with people who have been handed the worst life has to offer and they have come out as winners. From any negative experience,  find value in everything that happens to you, nod your head up and down by saying yes and accepting, let your tension go by relaxing yourself, look for ways to create that value and ask yourself, what can I learn from this experience?, how can I use this experience to positive advantage? What if I see the other truth that my life is full and that I am blessed and very resourceful?

Think about it, maybe you realize that your problems are the gifts of your life. In fact where and who you will be without your problems? You are strong because of your past pains.  Life cannot be totally efficient all the time or else you will be bored. Life can be enjoyable only when you can be very effective and this requires you to take actions, vary your approach and attitudes and dig for empowering meanings for your experiences.

It is a guided and gifted moment when you realize that your worst days were truly your best days, when you can realize that, you can envision and create a way that becomes a new reality for you.

Take the story of pain and turn it into a meaning and a journey so you can elevate yourself and others, create, discover, and make things from the place of spiritual growth. As Neale Walsh states “Life will resolve itself in the process of life itself… let the moment play itself out, try to not push the river. Life knows what it has in mind. Trust life, it is on your side”.

The proof is that you are still there? Aren’t you?
