6 simple ways to “I Love Me”

"Valentine is a magnificent occasion to remind us that the expression of love is a natural beautiful process of life. Flowing and experiencing the magic starts with showering oneself and others with love and kindness. When you deposit love in anything the outcome can only be magnificent and many times exponential and least expected. Be courageous to initiate kindness & generous in love potions is a key”.

My dear friend and colleague “Ayesha Kouwatly”, who inspires love and light, said that and she is so right!!

Honoring and loving self unconditionally, is a must for happiness. When you have self-love you are able to show yourself the affection you deserve and do not wait for others to give it to you. Self-love means accepting yourself unconditionally and is the beginning of a great relationship with yourself.

Begin a self-love journey that will forever change the way you see yourself, how you see others, and ultimately, how you see the world.

How to truly give yourself the gift of love in 6 ways this Valentine day:

-Tune in to your own internal dialogue throughout the day, note your self-talk in a journal. Identify whether it is positive or negative and then replace each negative entry with words of encouragement.
- Surround yourself with people who give you real meaningful connections, who lift you up and give you opportunities to grow.
Treat people the way you want to be treated, the way you treat yourself will be how others will treat you. The way you treat others will be how you treat yourself as a base. Your self-image is the lens of perception in which you see the world because we see things not as they are but as we are.
-Take care of your BODY, it is your vehicle to achieve everything you aspire for. If you don’t have your body working right for you, your energy will not flow. Have adequate hours of sleep, eat right, drink plenty of water, exercise… you will not only look good but you will feel good as well.
- Create a healthy distance with others and think about WHAT you would be willing to do for others without comprising on your time, your family time and your values. Balance between the time you give to others and time spent on your own life.
- Celebrate your strengths and gifts and accept your weaknesses, allow yourself to be comfortable in your own skin while enjoying authentic and absolute confidence. Make peace with your imperfections as you work to improve them.

When you love yourself, really love yourself, you make it so much easier for others to love you, and life is so much easier. “I commit to do my best to do something loving for myself, however big or small, for the next 31 days”, share your ways to give yourself self-love on https://www.facebook.com/emergecoachinguae
